BOWP Approved but not mailed

My BOWP got approved on Jan 9 th. CIC has not mailed by WP yet. When I called CIC they said the WP got approved on Jan 9 but they have not printed it and mailed. I need to renew my SIN and OHIP and need this piece of paper. I also got a new job offer. However CIC told me they can tell a third party over the phone that I am eligible for work and that my WP has been approved. Was wondering if anyone has faced this situation?

no they just said they will sent a reminder to the CIC mailing team
