I am currently living in Alberta and I will be validating my Confirmation of Permanent Residence at a land border.

Can anyone recommend/ suggest a good place to cross the border? Preferably, one that I wont have to walk so long or one where the officers are more friendly.

Also, is there a border crossing that I should try to avoid? traffic, rude officers etc.

It's a crap shoot as far as officers. I've had the same officer at the Calgary airport be super nice to me one time and super mean another.

Try the Coutts-Sweetgrass border.

I used Roosville last year and it was excellent. But it's like 5 hours from Calgary.

For my landing I'm think Carway, since is the closest one from Calgary (2:45). Coutts is around 3:30.
