unpaid is fine. You shouldn’t buy anything until the visa is confirmed.

You should not pay for a flight either. You can attach flight itinerary from somewhere like Expedia Or airline. It says not to pay for flights in the instructions.

You will have to read through. It says somewhere not to pay for a plane ticket until you receive your visa.
