I am working with a firm in Alberta and i am on LMO and now my work permit is bonded, i just want to know that whether i can break this bond and can work with some other company. I came here on student visa and my open work permit expired this year in September. I am applying CEC by end of December, will it affect this also?

By bonded do you mean closed? As in you're tied to that employer?
If so, you can leave that company but your new company would have to go through the lmo and work permit process once again from the beginning

There is no impact on your CEC application

check out the expiry of your close work permit. once you send your cec application, you will receive acknowledge of receipt, you can use it to apply a bridge open work permit under the condition that your current work permit expires in 4 months while still valid.

Thanks for reply to both of you.

My bonded permit will expire in 2015, so i cannot apply for open work permit. I just want to confirm that if a get a LMO from new employer, duties of my job mentioned on LMO should be similar to one I am doing at moment?

No - you can have one year experience on multiple noc codes as long as they are 0, a or b category

Thanks
So i just need to find an employer who can provide me LMO.
I have heard from some people that your old employer can make your case weak if you will leave him after applying for CEC....is this true?

Unless an employer specifically sabotaged your status in Canada (which if you are legal and have everything in order is quite difficult to do) no, an employer cannot make your CEC case weak.
Remember: CEC is evaluated up to your application date - if you change jobs, leave the country etc, it doesn't impact your application - you will be told which cases y will need to inform cic of when you receive your acknowledgement letter
