So I have paid my fee for a BWOP before going through the online application process and realizing that you can make the payment at the end

I haven't gone through all the steps yet with the online application, but does anyone know if I can inform them at the payment section of the online application that I have already paid the $150 fee or will I have to pay it again and then request a refund on one of the payments?

Thanks

Payment should be one of final steps. How did you pay mid-way?

Either way, you can cancel initial payment (call CIC) and pay the fee at the end of the online process.

Yeah I know I am a dit!! I clicked on the pay online and went through the process. From my understanding I needed to include the receipt as a document with the application, however I was wrong!! I guess with the strike on it must be hard to call the centre and actually get through. So maybe an email with the manual receipt, an explanation and ask them for a refund?? Which office should I email???

You can get that refund any time. I suggest not delaying your application.

Go ahead and finish your application, pay for it. Call them and ask for refund when strike is over. Not sure how email refund works.
