and you are right Steph C, IMM 5406 states that print or write in black ink.... that label confused me cause there is no such restriction on rest of 3 forms i filled early and signed with blue color. so i was being conscious and asked for help

there is one more question if you can help. regarding the photos which we have to send along with application. in checklist, they have stated to see instructions on guide for the photos and for photo specificationns, there is another page on check list..... i couldnt find any other instructions in the guide related to photos. do i have to label or sign them or just send away with photo specification?

I always got conflicting info on that one, typically people put the name and signature on the back of the photo. Some people say only name and sign one photo of the bunch. Others have signed them all. We just signed and labeled one in the group for each person. (can't remember if we added a date)

i read a lady said that she sent two sets, one with one photo signed and rest as it is and the other full set signed. she wrote the reason for it and ask CIC to discard whatever is not needed

GAH! I was just looking at my forms and realized that I sent my application with blue signatures/NA's! (I typed up the majority but there were a few places I needed to write something in) Do you think this will cause a problem? What is done is done so I can't do anything about it, but I spent SO Much time and effort on my application I do not want a delay over something as silly as pen colour!
Anyone heard of a pen colour delay? lol

The basis for this question is that documents are scanned for storage as part of your file. Black ink is less likely to have an error than blue (and blue less than pink with sparkles). For your signature, this is of less importance, but black is still preferable.

To be less depressed about wait times, first go and look at the posted Stage 2 wait times, and then look at the forum numbers again and you'll be elated, not depressed.
