Black and white copies?

For documents such as drivers licences, passports and marriage certificates did people use black and white or colour photocopies?

I'm confused too about this section ppl say you have to give them certified copy but I didn't find anything says that ! I'm about to send my application I included copies of my birthday certificate and marriage certificate . The original is certified I just took a copy and included. I don't know if it's right or wrong

As long as its in English or French it doesnt need to be certified and they specifically ask for photocopies only. I'm just wondering if I should have mine re-copied since I only have black ink at home.

Yes it makes sense I might include my original birthday certificate cuz it's in Arabic I did the translation I included a copy with the translation. My marriage certificate is in English so I'm good . I copy them in black ink .
