for those of you nga gusto mag virtual "laag laag" in Canada, here's a good trip!
WARNING: this may be addicting, anyways hapit naman bakasyon diha sa pinas, so kalingawi lang ni.
1. go to maps.google.ca
2. in the search box, input the complete address including city and province. The best way is to put in the postal code. As an example of an address, try to input "Edmonton City Hall"
3. then you will be presented with at least one ballon. ballon nga duna letter "A"
4. there's this yellow man (taw-taw nga naa sa taas sa "+" ug "-" sign that is use to zoom in or zoom out)
5. drag the yellow man near ballon A. You can place the yellow man sa streets ra, so just drag it as near as possible, duna pud na green nga arrow kung asa mag face ang taw-taw.
6. kung hinay ang internet connection, you have to wait for a few seconds. ayaw lihoka ang computer para dili ma hang hang.
then bam! you should have a pretty good view of the street
then sulayi ug drag drag ang image so you can look around, plus, you also can click on the street (basta duna nay gray nga oblong nga naka butang sa street) then click once para mu forward. Then forward pa jud.
Believe it or not, this is what i use to look for apartments and jobs, para before going to the actual place at least familiar nako ang lugar. para dili masaag. you can even see the facade sa apartment gani, if it is along the road ;D
- if inig drag ninyo sa yellow nga taw-taw unya walay ka butangan, meaning walay picture ang google ana. I'd say the area may be remote nga wala suroya ni google.
- images maybe more than 5 years old. so sometimes wala diha imong gi pangita especially kung bag-o pa ang place. but 99% of the time, apartments and buildings are more than 5 years older naman pud.
- you can see bus stops as well and it will give you a good idea sa bus number nga mu agi diha. if you're looking for an apartment nga duol ra sa bus stop, then try to look around and mas maayo kung at least duna tulo ka bus routes nga naka butang sa bus stop sign.
to maharlika: give it a try sa imong address nga gi hatag and turn around, you can see tombstones.
