hello sa tanan mga bisdak! happy kaau mi sa ako family ky we landed safely. february 25, friday mi naabot sa vancouver... ug kini ang akong kasinati-an... bow. ;D

akong hubby ug son na 5 years old, first time nakasakay ug airplane.. ako ika-duha na. so sa domestic flyt namo going to manila, ngisi jud mi to d max ky feel kaau namo ang paglarga. samot na akong bana ky aside na adto na cya canada, madescribe na jud niya unsa diay nang mosakay ug plane.

sa among flight to hongkong, ok kaau, 2 hours lang pero wala mi na-enjoy sa food ky mejo tab-ang or cguro kay kadto pa man mi nakatilaw ato na food. kung gutom man gud, mangita man jud ang pinoy ug 1 cup ug tunga na rice ug sauce na parat ug halang. hehehe. ang akong advise sa naay mga kids, like maharlika, pagbalon jud ug water ug snacks for ur kids (if possible) labi na kung connecting flyt kay aron kung di sila mo-angay sa food gina-serve sa plane, di ra jud sila magutom. plus, ug mopalit ka food sa airport, like hk airport mahal kaau. kung mobayad ka USD hala ky HKD man ila isukli unya unsaon man nato tong sukli?

pagsakay namo sa cathay going to vancouver, nakaka-on na mi usa ka meal with rice, lipay kaau mi ako bana. marag 12-13 hours lang ang byahe.

sa imigration, dali ra kaau mi ky we were only four including my husband. kami rai immigrants, ang 1 with student visa ug ang usa pa jud working visa. ang mga questions gamay ra pod like "where is ur destination?", "do u have other children? and "how much money do have with u?" amo ra gi-declare among funds, wala na gipangita ang proof. and that's it. sign na daun mi sa copr. next gikuha na namo among luggage. mga 9 0r 9:30 cguro mi nahoman den we waited sa amo sundo. 2 hours mi naghulat niya ky i e-mailed him our itinerary based on d e-tiket unya feb 26, at 8:30pm didto ang arrival. pero 25 man diay sa ilaa dri sa vancouver. so mao to na nanawag pa mi ug nakaging mi sa katugnaw didto sa airport. hahaha!

den nanga-on na mi.. naabot mi sa haus almost 12midnight na. den unsa pod ag among uncle na imbis lami pa kaau matolog pagkafollowing day, gipamukaw man pod mi ky naa cya meeting den koyog daw mi. e-force daw namo among self mo-mata aron maka-adjust ug dali sa ilang waking and sleeping sked. gi-drop off mi niya sa mall para daw mag-shop sa among needs or at least mag-window shop. unya kay katulgon man kaau mi, naglingkod ra jud mi didto, so mara rapod mig nisakay usob ug plane.. sus, mara jud mig gisulatan! pag-abot sa haus, nagluto mi, den gi-counselan mi nya about finances, marriage, and christian life. midnight na mi nakatulog den pagkafollowing day sau napod mi nibakod ky mo-attend ug sunday service. naabot mi sa haus around 4pm ug nangatulog daun ming tanan. it's 10:17pm here. karon rajud ko kalugar ug share sa akong experience ky it's only now dat i don't feel drowsy and sleepy.

hapsay ra jud among trip, glory to god! i hope sa mga lumalargahay pa, hapsay pod ang inyong byahe. ayaw lang jud kalimti ang mga gagmay na importanteng dad-onon like socks, toiletries, lip balm ug uban pa aron di na mopalit dinhi.

so happy to know that you landed there safely. btw, when they asked you how much money do you have, did you give them details as to how much is in cash, in drafts, in TCs, etc., or you just told them the total amount? hello mga bisdak..ask ko lang how long before nyo na receive MR's nyo from the date na sinend sya nang VO? my consultant is based in cebu and they told me na from the time na ma mail nang VO more or less 2 weeks daw? tama ba?

Khai, in my case, i didn't know when my MR was exactly sent by VO. But here's my timeline:

04/20/2010 - date of 2nd AOR
07/13/2010 - VO started processing my case (as stated in the ECAS)
07/14/2010 - date stamped on my MR (reckoning date of the 60-day timeframe for submission of medical results)
07/20/2010 - ECAS changed to "in process" from RBVO
07/22/2010 - received MR via post office

Assuming that my MR was sent by VO the same day it was stamped, so more or less mga 1 week lang, natanggap ko na. But since the post office plays a vital role in the early delivery of our MRs, my advice is to "make friends" with your postman. ;D

i doubt if ma follow-up sila sa post office..pero cge lang..for the meantime ga wait pa ko na ma receive sang CIO akon GT IELTS.. na delay ko kay la nila gin accept akon Acad IELTS..
