From Leduc, ther's the C-Line which is from Century Park Transit Centre ($5 one-way) and then ang LRT/Bus train with-in City of Edmonton is $2.75 (any direction for not more than 90 minutes, kung Sundays sometimes tagaan ka ug transfer ticket good for 3 hours)...
Give and take, more or less 1 hour and 15 minutes ang Leduc from downtown Edmonton, that's my estimate without waiting for the buses and train. Kung mag drive nga dili rush hour, give it less than an hour siguro... basta kung mag bus ko gikan Calgary, mu-agi mana ug "Welcome to Leduc", it takes more or less 50 minutes from that signage to here.
There is public transportation, but if you miss the bus... kailangan jud ka ug super patience. Kita mga pinoy wala baya ta maanad ug hulat hulat ug transpo kay sa ato-a ang jeep ug habal2x kay dali ra baya... for example last night I missed the bus (it was 2 minutes earlier than scheduled)... so I waited for 27 minutes in freezing -21, good thing kay putos kaayo ko, but nag numb gihapon akong paa and hands and gutom na kaayo, walay kilid kilid nga barbeque or tempura nga madali dali...

I can'tsay much about Leduc, wala pa jud ko naka adto, ning agi ra, from the highway its like daghan mga facilities, factories, refineries (basin) and then duna pud mga grupo grupo nga mga stores and parks. Honestly, layo sya from the City of Edmonton, once you get work here in Edmonton, you'll see nga layo siya... the cost of transpo and the time used for travelling kay alkansi-hon... It's another city jud... mura syag ga puyo ka ug CarCar city and ga work ka sa Colon.
In regards to job opportunities... sa City of Edmonton ko maka sulti nga daghan ang available... my bearing are the job sites, recruitment agencies and postings sa mga stores "Help Wanted"
