struggling to stand straight (from the lack of sleep and jet lag) in-front of a visa officer is not a pleasant thing. Even if you got your visas ready, naa gihapon ang "kulba" nga duna pay mahitabo nga dili maayo. (i dunno basin paranoid lang ko), but once we passed by the customs... going outside the gates of the arrival area... me and my wife just hugged and kissed each other, ambak ambak, murag naka daog ug lotto, victory dance and smile smile, hello hello dayon sa mga Canadians!!!... and then you have that moment... when you push your trolley towards the main exit, and you can take that first deep breath of the air, here in Canada. maka ingon dayon ka... sa kadaghan paper works, sa kadako gi bayaran, sa pag prepare sa IELTS and documents, show money, tanan tanan... this is it! it's a facebook moment
in short, we just took PAL. Cebu->Manila->Vancouver->Edmonton ... exciting and tiring, but I can just imagine unsa ka hassle if ga stop over pa sa Korea or HongKong...
