Dear friends,
I just submitted my profile (Score 437) and hoping to receive ITA soon or maybe earlier next year based on the threads on this forum about the score going down, etc.
My question is that my wife is currently pregnant and delivery date is around early May 2018. In instance where I receive my ITA before that date, I would have to apply within the next 90 days for PR. Considering the procedures of birth certificates and passports being ready, it would take minimum 1.5 months to have the passport in my hand so it would take the situation to maybe end of June 18 for me to be able to update the birth of a child in my profile.
What are my options if my COPR is issued before June-18? I have read somewhere that it could take up to a year or more to sponsor a baby.
Is it worth delaying my application e.g. if I receive ITA in February (based on predictions), to take up full 90 days or it is taking a risk and maybe some sudden rule changes could affect my application altogether?
Maybe if I receive, the ITA this year (if I'm lucky enough), what is the best course of action considering I don't want to deliver the baby in Canada.?
Also, would my wife being pregnant affect her Medical exam for the application?
Thank you in advance for your help.
