Birth certificate

Hello, my spouse does not have a birth certificate with her. What is the alternate to that inorder to submit docs via ITA.
How can we arrange a substiyue of borth certificate?
Pls help and advise

Why do you need your birth certificate? After receiving ITA it asked for you to upload your birth certificate?

My agent is asking a list of doc to be submitted and Birth certificate is a part of that list.
Hence i thought to ask. Is it a mandatory doc ?

Ask the agent where is it needed? I don’t think IRCC asks for birth certificate
