Hello everyone,

I am about to start the process of Express Entry under Canadian Experience Class.

I have one question, in my birth certificate, my name is written as Viren and in my passport it is Virenkumar, does it make any difference, do I need to change my birth certificate?

You don't need your birth certificate.

Really?

Because my lawyer gave me list of documents and in this list, it has been mentioned that birth certificate having mother or father's full name. My father name is there in the certificate but In certificate Viren has written instead of Virenkumar.

Your lawyer's list is outdated. IRCC did away with that requirement a year or so ago...

Hi @jes_ON, could u tell me if there's a list of all the documents needed for CEC? I'm really confused as what are the official required documents. If you could post a link, that will be great!!! I appreciate your help in advance!

None that I'm aware of at this time, and in any case the list will vary a bit by individual application. This is the comprehensive list for all EE applications.
