Hello Everyone,

For Spousal Sponsorship for Permanent Residence,

Can any One suggest what documents can be submitted as alternative documents for birth certificate.

(or) Is it mandatory to submit birth certificate.

I heard cases where they accept education certificates as alternative document, but can some one suggest if they had a positive response for the same.

It depends on the region. Where was the applicant born?

My spouse had the same problem and had no Birth Certificate.Luckily her birth was registered at the delivered hospital in Hyderabad.We paid money to obtain her birth certificate and which we got in 4 weeks..

I dont know what other alternative you can submit for Birth Certificate...

try in eseva or passport kendra they should be able to giveas per passport

Due to election situation, we are having delay in getting Birth Certificate ( 2 months ), Could it be the case that i submit a covering letter and still process the application and submit the Birth Certificate when i get it, would the immigration accept this.
