I have a birth certificate question...

I have an originalmbirth certificate of mine which was issued back few days after my birth. It is in english and hand written by metropolitan corporation. The paper is rotten up to certain expent. I check with the corporation and record is there and they can make a computerized birth certificate...
Now the new computerized birth certificate is acceptable by CIC??

I m from Pak... But the issue date will be of 2013 not of the year i was born... So is it ok??

I would recommend you send both..rotten one and the new one..just explain why you issued the new one.. you will be fine..

Do i have send originals with application or later during process?

I think it's written in application package, if it asks for original...send original otherwise photocopy

Are you applying for PR at CIC under PNP (Provincial Nominee Program)?

If yes, you only need to provide a copy and have it notarized to be safe. It can be the copy of your original or the copy of your newly issued birth certificate.

Yes i am going to apply for PR at CIC under PNP... Today applied for issuance of computerised birth certificate, first they verified and checked the record of my birth according to rotten certificate after that they allowed for the issuance... They said your record must be present with us to be issued a computerised certificate for which in my case my record was there...
