Hi All,

I need help from all the experts in the forum. I am an Indian National and have got my ECA and IELTS cleared.

I wanted to understand about Birth Certificate Requirement for the Canadian PR. I am trying my best to get the Birth Certificate but it is very difficult to get as I am trying after 32 years. My current age is 32 and it is very difficult to get the Birth Certificate.

Though, I have proofs in the form of Passport, 10Th Standard Mark sheet, Voter ID card to claim the Birth Place.

Is there any alternative to apply without Birth Certificate and submit affidavit and attach all these proofs.

Please advise. Your response is highly appreciated.

10 std certificate with atleast one of the parents name works..if the certificate is not in English translation needed..attach an affidavit as well...and mention details in covering letter...

Birth Certificate is a mandatory document. Get one for you. All this affidavit etc. are no guarantee. I am 1980 Born I arranged one for myself. In case you can let me know your birth place I may help you. PM me.
