Birth Certificate related query for EE profile creation.

hi everyone,

need urgent advise as I have different name in my birth certificate where as rest of the documents have correct name. how important is the birth certificate for EE profile creation? is it possible to provide any alternate documents which are valid as proof of DOB. I am from India and having
CRS 416.

CIC do not ask for Birth Certificate. In my case only Ontario asked for Birth Certificate when i applied for ONIP and mine has NO NAME as my parents were still deciding my name when the birth certificate was prepared !!!! LOL

So what i did was - i attached an affidavit that this is my birth certificate and that my name was not final when this was prepared !! But untill you are not applying for any state nomination. i dont think that you need birth certificate for EE and the process afterwards

Adding to my statement above - CIC do not ask for birth certificate of primary and secondary applicants. For your kids its a requirement !

thanks mate for the reply. however I am also going to try PNP as a fall back option if the CRS goes up north. going by the current score(mine is 416) and recent cut-off was 415 I am hopeful that I may get through express entry and don't need to try PNP at all.
