Birth certificate of spouse not available

Hi,

I am from India and will be applying for FSWP 2014 and I will be primary applicant. I want to confirm that what to do if my spouse is not having her Birth Certificate.

Pl advise...

Birth certificate is mandatory

Either get it or

1) submit SSLC certificate of your spouse with matching name, DOB and minimum one paranet name.

2) if 1 is also not an option, your spouse parents should make an affidavit.

I have one query, SSLC is not in English. From where can I get it translated, I mean it requires any certified translator?

Yes it needs to be translated and copy should be attested.

there are agencies available for this. However I do not have direct experience. May be you mention your city here and ask opinion for your city.
