Birth certificate not available

Hello Friends,

Iam applying under FSW, myself and my spouse don't have Birth certificate.Could you please let me know any other document or affidavit do i need to submit

Submit school certificate with your date of birth and parents name on it.

You mean to say, i can submit school Transfer Certificate. If so, do i need write a cover letter stating that i do not have birth certificate? Please clarify

If your school certificate has

Your Name, AND
Your Date of Birth, AND
Your Parent(s) Name

then you can use it. No need for special cover letter for this.

In case if anyone doesn't have his/her birth certificate in such case a certificate of unavailability of birth record can also be obtained from MCD.

Hello Friend,

Could you be more specific on MCD, i don't understand that term? Also, i read in CIC website that, if appropriate document is not available then should not provide alternate document.So not sure if a School transfer certificate is acceptable, is anyone provided such document and is that accepted? Please advice.

I have submitted SSLC 10th std. Certificate showing my date of birth and parents name. And it was accepted by CIC.
