Birth Certificate issue

Hi all, i currently have an issue with my wife's birth certificate for my application. so we have my wife's birth cert but it doesn't have her name on it, it literally says "baby" and my wife's last name. In China, it's common to decide the child's name well after birth. Is it better to write an explanation letter explaining this issue or to explain not having one at all?

just write an explanation letter indicates that the baby hasn't been given a name at that point due to Chinese tradition .like the child would be given a name which would fit him/her the best according to the birthday and the exact time .
