Birth certificate issue

HI ,

I have filed my PR in Oct, and attached the birth certificate which was made when I born. On my birth certificate there is only my DOB and father/mother name. Will be issue with by Birth certificate because my name is not on it and will reject the application or they will ask for another documents to prove it.

Can I send some extra copies now to prove my date of birth. I have my 10th marksheet , Can I send now.

For a minute think you are an immigration officer. Assume someone provide a birth certificate which has no applicant name but date of birth. Wouldn't you be confused and saying what the hell what is this thing and if you are a good officer and you have extra time to spend then you will dig into deep understanding whats happening. So ultimately as an officer, at first impression you got confused when you saw a birth certificate with no name.

Now coming back to your situation, I would say wait until you get your AOR. Send a brief explanation letter and add your secondary or high secondary
school certificate which shows your name/dob/one of your parents name on it.

You can try sending these now but not sure how will it work.

Hie i ha sent an inquiry to cic Sydney regarding Birth certificate issue.
This what i got as reply i hope this helps you.

Good Morning:

Please note: you must provide a Birth Certificate with the following criteria:
- Name of client

- Date of birth of the client

- Parent’s name (either mother, father or both is acceptable)

If you are unable to provide a birth certificate, we do accept secondary, matriculation or school leaving certificates as proof of birth however it still must contain the above criteria. We also accept affidavits stating such information or that a birth certificate cannot be attained. We do not accept passports as proof of birth therefore we are unable to accept birth details from passports.
Please note:
· If your documents are not in French or English, a certified (notarized) translation must be submitted with a copy of the original version.

· Original documents must be received by mail. Notarized documents are not acceptable in lieu of original documents.

In my personnel opinion most of consultant are just waste , they don't know much .
Don't worry if your application sent before 31 dec 2014 you are still part of CEC .
As soon as you get AOR send CIC your high school certificate which contain your correct name. DOB, and any of your parent name. Unfortunately CIC don't consider passport as DOB proof

Not sure for issuing AOR they check all details of submitted Document.
I think you will get AOR .
Not 12th, 10th only

I have seen some people on this forum their application package returned because of birth certificate issue. But if u already sent your 10th stanrd or high school certificate with your application then you are good.
