Birth Certificate for PR

Hi,

For PR, if I don't have birth certificate with me then do I need to get it from Indian Embassy? Or affidavit can work instead of birth certificate.

I'm applying from Quebec. Country of Origin- India.

Obtain a birth document from your embassy, affidavit wont work unless it is attested to by either of your parents if they are here with you.
