birth certificate discrepency

Hi
my spouse has got her Father's Name printed correctly on all docs including her passport and it matches with her brother's document i.e PARMINDER KUMAR, But on her birth certificate its mentioned as PARMINDER KUMAR SHARMA, all other details like DOB and POB are ok.
Do I need to worry or we can just submit an affidavit saying that PARMINDER KUMAR AND PARMINDER KUMAR SHARMA is the one and the same person
