I am planning to submit school certificate for both my wife and me, do I need to submit a cover letter stating that as we don't have birth certificates we are submitting school certificates? or I can just submit without any cover letter?

Yes. Better submit a covering letter for any deviation. Just make sure the school certificate has your names in full, your parents name (either father / mother or both) and the DOB.

Anytime you are substituting a required document, you should provide an explanation and evidence if possible. In this case, a short explanation letter should be sufficient.

thanks Andy2109 and GinnyPi

I am also planning to submit pay-stubs, how many pay stubs would you suggest for submitting. I am planning to submit latest 2 or 3 and the initial (when I started working in Canada) 2 or 3 pay stubs. should that be sufficient?

I think it would be helpful to submit the final pay stub for each year you have worked, as well as the first one, and the most recent two. This makes it very easy for them to calculate the total number of hours if necessary.

Hi Folks,

I have a different place of birth in my BC and Passport ( i have DOB , father and mother name same in both - i hope the initial in Certificate does not matter as it is expanded in passport ). i am planning to submit an affidavit by Canadian lawyer for this, would that be good enough, any recommendations please ?
