Birth after DM?

Hi guys!

So I have a question about inland sponsorship. My husband's application is currently being processed and we're just waiting now for DM. I'm due pretty much anytime and I'm just wondering if I still need to inform CIC if I give birth AFTER my husband's application has been approved?

The baby is going to be born here in Canada so it wouldn't be an issue of 'adding him to the application'. But the AIP email he received said they had to be notified of any birth. @ _ @

I might give birth long before he finally receives DM but it would definitely be before he lands (I was due yesterday!)... I just thought I'd ask now so I knew what to do if that situation were to happen! Thanks for any advice.

The instruction is very clear in the AIP email. No room for interpretation.

Go ahead and notify them and somehow keep a record of how you do, even if it's a print screen of a CSE. No worries however, being born in Canada he/she will be Canadian citizen automatically and no need to add to your application.

Uhhh yeah, I get that, thanks. But the email is for AIP not DM... so there could be a difference.. I asked about AFTER DM... which is not an email I currently have so there are no instructions for me...
