Birdging work permit

I have got my Invitation to apply and submitted my documents three weeks ago, my work permit expires February next year. do i still need to apply for the bridging work permit now? or i can wait until my current work permit is about to expire then apply?

I think your PR will be approved before your current WP expires; but worst case scenario, you don't need to apply for it now. You can apply in January, 2024, or even 1 or 2 weeks before your WP expires. As long as you have a receipt of a BOWP submission, you are good!
