We have applied for a tourist visa and the application is uploaded and fee is paid. I am not able to get biometrics appointment for the next 14 days. Do they process my visa application even of the biometrics is pending or they will not process the application until the biometrics is completed ? How long will it take for the processing of visa ? Hi, even I applied for tourist visa from USA and I’m on H4. Got the biometrics don’t from uscis. What is your purpose of visit ?
We have applied for a tourist visa and the application is uploaded and fee is paid. I am not able to get biometrics appointment for the next 14 days. Do they process my visa application even of the biometrics is pending or they will not process the application until the biometrics is completed ? How long will it take for the processing of visa ? Yes my purpose of visit is the same. Planning to meet a friend , I got my biometrics done from USCIS Oakland , didn’t take an appointment went through walk-in and got it done. The appointment wait time was a lot , took a chance.My purpose is tourism.

Processing and time starts after biometrics. Just visit office directly and try to get a chance for biometrics without appointmentMy purpose is tourism.

I got the appointment for 29th September. But I took a chance and went to the USCIS, Houston and completed the biometrics today.
