Do biometrics come into play under security or criminality phase?

From what I've seen, providing biometrics does "push" the application forward. It was especially obvious when nobody could give biometrics, where within a week or two the CoPR came. Though this time, with many people giving biometrics and others exempt, this might not be as obvious anymore.

Hi all,

Finally received a call for a Biometrics appointment, they have given me an appointment for Nov 3,
I got the appointment at Brampton SC

AOR- June 6 , BIL- July 23

Thank you. And should I do anything with that CORP or I just need to wait for a PR to arrive?

Just received a call from Service Canada...
Call came without a phone number - Unknown.
My biometrics was booked for November 9th
Location: Toronto
Dates in my signature!

I finally received the call from Service Canada from a private number.
AOR: Feb 17th
BIL: Feb 27th
Location: Toronto
Appt Date: Nov 3rd at North York SC office, Yonge St.
