Hi Nana_K, I have also the same problem and our flight will be this coming Sunday. I went to the VFS but what they said they won’t allow me to do bioemtrics if I didn’t get the biometrics instruction letter. Any idea if this might be a problem when we arrive in Canada esp.in immigration?
If you don't receive any Biometrics Request on you CIC profile then you don't have to worry. When you arrive in CA, all are automated. From your usual declaration card which used to be a hard copy and travellers have to fill them out manually. These are now electronic! When you reach the checkpoint counter you have to fill in your particular in those automated machines which scans your Iris and fingerprints. Series of questions will be displayed and you have to declare and answer them to the best of your knowledge. If you are traveling alone or with companion you have to repeat this process per person. Afterwards, system will generate these info and prints out.
Don’t worry too much, there are staff around to assist you when you stumble upon any issues. All the best!
