Biometrics ?

Hi people
is there anyone who has already submitted their biometrics and at what point of time have you been asked to submit them ?

Just got the passport request.
 
Hey there. I payed the biometric fees and just sent in the receipt (took some time until I figured out where to upload the document ._.).. I leave in some days to the US, so currently I need to know if I can give biometrics also from a VAC there?
If I get this right, I can only get my biometrics after I received an Instruction letter, right? So if I dont get the letter before I leave te the US, I kinda have to do it there...
If anybody has a helpful comment, I'm gonna bake a virtual cake for you.

Instruction letter writes like
If you are in US, you may go to a (USCIS), (ASC) or (VAC) and if you are outside of US, you may go to VAC. " Based on this, i think, you can give biometrics in any of visa application center around the world.

Mohsin.S, thanks for the reply! So I can go to USCIS, ASC or VAC? I really hope so cause there are only 2 VACs in the US..
