I recently did my biometrics last Monday. It has officially been a week now and I am starting to worry about how much longer it could take to get a letter of introduction in order to send our passport which I know will take another 10-15 days to get back. since school is starting soon I was wondering how long does it usually take for people to get some sort of response after their biometrics?

It was an electronic application and then we did the biometrics at the vac in New York
I also applied online and visited VAC on Monday and no update whatsoever on biometrics..still says action required.
I personally think their online system is lagging because I submitted my biometrics in Pakistan and you gave yours in US. So 2 different embassies but same issue.
Before logging in GC key it's showing
"
Online applications: After we receive your application, it may take up to 5 days for you to see it in your account. We are working to make this wait time shorter. If your application does not appear after 5 days, contact us and report a technical problem. This issue will not delay processing of your application"
So maybe that's why it's delayed

I am from pakistan, applying for study permit manitoba canada. Its been more than 30days my application is still the same. Last update which was around 30days ago , on biometrics saying "we need your fingerprints" . I wrote an email to cic and they said theyre having issues uploading biometrics.
Recentlyy i got a new update, the main front page where we click for "status" there used to be a msg sort of thing saying "Your action is required" this changed and its not there anymore. And the status biometric column says "we have not received your fingerprints".

I think you should scan your biometrics receipt and send that with IRCC webform explaining your situation. Btw what's your eligibility status are they reviewing it or no?
I did, i wrote an email to them along with scanned biometric slip. On which they said theyre having issues uploading biometrics.
And no update on eligiblity. Still in progress . not reviewing.
Seems they are having technical issues and that's beyond our control, hopefully that doesn't delay our applications. Most time consuming are background checks and once they are completed I don't think eligibility will take time.

Hello, Please I am in the same situation. I did my biometric enrolment on the 8/10/2018, however my online profile is yet to be updated. Please has your profile now been updated with the biometric registration details and how did you resolve this?
Hello! I have a question on biometrics completion. On my profile, below my name and UCI number, there is biometrics number, date of biometrics enrolement March 8, 2019. Even though, down in the application steps, there is biometrics and it says We have not received your fingerprints. What is going on?

I am encountering similar. Gave my fingerprints on july 25 and my application still says we have not received your fingerprints but everything else displayed under application information. What is your status now?
