Hi all, I thought it would be wise to start a thread to follow when people get phone calls to track how long it takes to get the call, the wait between the call and appointment date, the location of the applicant + any other useful information. It may help others further down the AOR queue to estimate how long they will need to wait.

AOR date:
Call date/time:
Appointment date:
Location:

Good initiative.
Following this thread too

I have not seen anyone in GTA getting the call so far.
Yeah there is one from Feb 15, 2020 recieved call he is from Saskatchewan as mentioned in the CIC website based on the location too it may get delay especially major inland applicants being from GTA they might have to wait for a month or 2 to get their turn(talking about AoR's from apr or may)..something better than nothing..but i would be happy as Ford is ready to declare another shutdown if the trend goes same way of increase in cases but not all of GTA though just the concerned areas hoping it wont effect this biometrics

based on your expectation how many applicants from march april and may would be waiting. There are around 58 SC providing biometric services.

I would say lets consider from feb to april they sent 35k AOR's (approx)and cut off 10% atleast for outlands that leaves us 31,500 and considering all of them will be attentive to the call and if each SC is booking 24ppl(each person 20mins per 8hrs working shifts)24*53=1272/day and if you say that all those 53 are from GTA but if GTA has less number of SC's then the time would be even more..so as per that calculation it will rake 24days to reach begining of may like a month..24 business days i mean

3 in toronto 2 in scarborough .mississauga and brampton each has one. overal canada has 58 SC accepting biometrics

This is quite frustrating waiting for the calls. Why couldn’t they just send emails in batches and let people book based on availability in different cities. How many call Center agents did they have to hire to make all this calls. Can’t understand why they are insisting on calling.
