Biometrics requirement for 2017 applicants?

Im a May 2017 applicant that still has a sponsorship application in process, will they ask me for biometrics too?

biometrics is a new requirement not yet on the checklist......don't worry about biometrics......any applicants that need to provide biometrics will be contacted by IRCC.

They may ask for re-medical if your previous medical is expiring.

How long is it valid for? I did my medical last year November i think.

I think medical is good for 1 year. They may extend it or ask for re-medical. But you still have time before Nov this year.
So may be you get approval before that.

Thanks, was afraid that it might be valid for 6 months only but 1 year is okay, hopefully its all done by November, travelling up and down to Canada as a visitor is taking a toll.

Hi, sorry to hear that, my vo is Vienna, but i just got DM last Saturday and COPR today.
