Biometrics - only fingerprints, no photo

Hi everyone,

I just went to Service Canada in Toronto to give my biometrics but they didn't take my photo because of Covid restrictions... Has anyone been in the same situation? Will fingerprints be enough to move the application along or will it be on hold until they can take my picture?

I'll be in my home country for a few weeks next month and I wonder if I should try to have my photo taken at the embassy there.

Any advice?

The exact same situation just happened to me too, they didn’t take my photo due to covid restrictions. I was told by the Service Canada staff that IRCC will contact me to go back and get the photo taken in the future.
