Biometrics - One thumb print not captured

I went for the biometric appt today and they were not able to capture one thumb print. The SC rep told me that it should be mostly fine since it is just one finger, Has anyone faced similar issue during biometric collection? Will IRCC accept this biometrics?

Don't think that will work for Criminality check..just my opinion.
