Biometrics letter for Indian applicant

Hi,

In our CIC account it says "We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes."
But then already received "Biometrics collection letter" in the messages.

This is confusing. Should we wait till the status changes regarding fingerprints, and then go for biometrics at VAC?

Or we should go head asap, so that the application moves ahead? Is the progress at this stage depended on us going to VAC?

You must give your biometrics if your application was received by IRCC on/after December 31

Hi, I have a question, in your letter do you have any expiry date for biometric, I mean do we need to do biometric within a month or can be done anytime?

No , you need to print that letter , book appointment and go VAC to give biometrics. Appears CIC have not update this on the account. Visa can be issued an it still says the same thing. However the biometrics valid for 10 years. And it will appear on top right hand side of your CIC account.
