I live in Houston, Tx, I got my biometrics instruction letter today, the country of birth and citizenship is mentioned as USA instead of India, I verified my application and I have given India everywhere.. Not sure how this happened.. Did anyone came across such situation?

I have a similar situation. I used to live in Boston. But when I applied for the PR, I was in India. My biometrics instruction letter states the same thing. It states USA as my country of birth and citizenship. How did you proceed with the bio metrics? Di you have to contact the CIC and request a new letter? Thank you for your response in advance!

I have sent an email to the IRCC regarding the issue. Waiting for their response.
Did anyone find the solution to this? I have the same problem! I have send a CSE about the error. I am thinking to go to the vac to give my biometrics and cross out the incorrect country and write the correct one.Did you end up having the issue corrected ? If so how? did you cross it out as well?
Okay that's great. I have already sent a case specific enquiry with the corrected form and passport copy so they should receive that on that end and then the biometric
Guys, I just did my biometrics this morning. They didn't even cared what I have in the form!
Only thing they need is the bar code in the Biometrics letter second page for ASC.
Passport is only needed for entering the ASC. Once you’re in all they need is appt confirmation and biometrics second page with bar code! That’s it
don’t waste your time waiting for CIC response! It is going to be templated response anyway.
Once you are done with biometrics, it will update in your PR profile within few hours.
Don’t even worry about this issue. Schedule and appt with ASC and get it done as soon as you can!

I think you're right, i did it the very next day and the VAC representative told me that they scan the passport for the information, turns out that the info was correct and they told me tht the correct info will be submitted from their side, they told me not to be worried about it also because i had the enquiry form already sent to cic.
I am currently in Canada who will be applying for PGWP next month. When I checked the biometric tool it shows up with the wrong country of birth. Will this be a problem when applying for PGWP? Should I mention it in the notes section of the PGWP application or should I contact IRCC? I am running out of time because my Study permit expires on August 31.
