Biometrics in India is open?

Hi

My in-laws had applied for a visitor visa to visit Canada. They rec'd a letter to submit biometrics.
Not sure if VFS centres are open now in India? if not any one know on any timelines.

nope, there aren no biometrics appointments for TRV in India ... on the forum, Ive seen people traveling to Dubai to get it done
