biometrics from inside canada ?

Guys, I'm from the UK which I think is visa exempt but it looks like they made biometrics mandatory since Jan 2019

I didn't have to do them when I applied for study permit in 2017 but now I'm applying for post grad work permit.

There was no field to upload biometrics in my application online but i think they will ask for them?

can I get the biometrics done inside Canada or will I have to leave? If I have to leave can I do it in the U.S ?

Biometrics can’t be done in Canada. If you come to Canada before you do biometrics, you’ll have to do them in the US before you get your permit. You can’t do it at the Canadian Border with the US, you have to do it at a facility in the USA.

The only time biometrics can be done at at Canadian Border is if you are flagpoling and making a new application there.

You can do it in London if you are still in the UK, otherwise consult this list.
