Finally after long wait, Biometrics for PR opened in India... I got it done today..

Go to VFS global homepage. Create an account and fill in the requisite info. They will ask for your preferred VAC and an alternate VAC where you can go for biometrics. Submit it and VFS team will reach out to you via SMS and email sharing Date of your appointment and location assigned to you to give our biometrics. This time, we don't have an option to choose time slot and date.

I booked the appointment for me using the webform. Now Im not able to book appointment for my spouse since it is saying appointment already booked for the application number. Kindly suggest how to book for the 2nd applicant?

I just booked for myself so have no idea as how to book for 2nd applicant.

After how many days of submitting the details, did you get a reply (sms or email) from VFS team regarding the date and time of your biometrics?

Fortunately, I got the reply within 2-3 hours of filling the web form. May be I did it as they opened so there was less rush and now there is more rush.
