Biometrics for family in different cities

My brother & sister live in different cities in India. If they apply together for canada visitor visa, will they be required to submit biometric in the same city? Or they can do it separately? One is in bangalore and other in chandigarh.

They cannot apply together unless under 22 and parents are applying with them. They are not dependants of each other. So they have separate accounts and applications and can do the biometrics wherever they want.

No, your brother and sister do NOT need to go to the same city for biometrics.

Here's how it works:

  • Once they submit their Canada Visitor Visa applications, each of them will get a Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL).
  • They can then book individual appointments at any VAC (Visa Application Centre) near them.
