Hi All, I am a CEC inland candidate (but spouse not in CA) I received an update on my submitted PR application today that my medicals are passed. However for the Biometric there are two section
1. At top right : It shows the biometric information of the biometric which was done during my work permit processing and my wife travel visa (she was in CA last year)
2. In the bottom: it shows the message "We need your finger prints to process your profile. Please check your messages."

In the letter they have mentioned that I have to do my biometric within 90 days i.e. January 14.

My question is I recently read a news that if a candidate has already given biometric then he is not supposed to give it again, can someone share their experience as to what has happened with the biometric for them in recent times.
If you have given your biometric witching last 10 years, then you are exempted. Biometric Letter will come anyway as the system was designed that way. No worries!!

As per my last GCMS notes before biometric was exempted, my eligibility and medical was passed and criminality was in progress. Security was blank.

Yes.CEC Inland. Did call them now but system says they are busy and are unable to transfer call at this time.

Profile got updated today..."Biometric completed". AOR April 4, 2020. Is there a chance I could get a final decision today? Or nothing until next week?

Not today. All the reports I’ve seen have at least a one day gap. Could be nothing for a few more weeks, but on average it’s within a week.

I got mine completed oct 13. Now i check application every 2 hours. Crazy times
Does logging onto your myCIC portal affect the application? I wonder if it "locks" the case, thereby preventing IRCC from working on it.

Sounds silly but there's a similar situation for the firm I'm working for. If the client logs onto the portal we can't access it.

that's interesting but scary though. I need to take a break from the portal anyways to maintain my sanity
