Hi,
I'm an inland applicant for spousal sponsorship with an OWP application, submitted 24th March 2020, AOR 7th November 2020, biometrics request 3rd Feb 2021.
I'm reading you are exempt from having to give biometrics if you're both i) in Canada and ii) have an application in progress for work permit.
I would decipher this as my being exempt as I have an open work permit application in place alongside my PR, but am not sure. I've never given biometrics before so under the rule of 'have provided in last 10 years' I am no exempt.
I've found IRCCs info often unclear and open to a lot of misinterpretations hence my asking this.
Thanks
