Biometrics at VFS India

Hello All,

Did anyone with SuperVisa/ Visitor Visa tried to schedule appointments at VFS center in India today ?
From 24-Feb, they seems to be opening slots for Economic PR class ! Will Visitor visa come into this category ?

Also, when I tried scheduling in past, I used to get message that appointments for Visitor visa is not open now and to check this page later. Today when I tried, I just get a message "Invalid" below the application number text box. No other message. Not sure what does it mean. Anyone else seen this message ?

Any inputs would be helpful.

Hi, I also tried and received the same response as you did. I tried booking an appointment for visitor visa for my mother. I think they have only opened it for PR for now. May be we should stay hopeful as they might open it up for visitor visas in coming days.

I am getting same "invalid" status for parents supervise application. I applied online in Dec 2020, been trying to book appointment. Until I think February, it would say " we are accepting PR biometric ect", now it's show invalid. Very strange, pissing me off tho. I just hope, supervisa insurance doesn't get wasted.

Same here I have applied for the Visitor Visa for my parents. When I try to book their appointment on the VFS site it gave me an invalid msg for the application number.

No idea, I emailed them and I received same rebuttal email back "we are only biometric for pr ect".

Hello, not sure if anyone else is in the same situation but my wife is due in September and we're going to apply for her mother's visitor visa. how can we get the biometrics done in India once VACs are open?

When the VAC open you need to book an appointment with them, last before it closed the VAC didn't accept appointment for visitor/supervisa category and as stated on other forum pages. People got their Biometrics done from Nepal/Bangladesh/dubai for visitor category.

Pregnancy generally doesn't fall under the category of a critical illness. Critical illness would generally be something like cancer or something similar. Having said that, I guess you can try and see what happens. Good luck.
