Hello forumers,

My parents applied for super visa in May from India. The application identified them as residents of India, and they received their biometrics collection letters promptly. Due to COVID, they have been unable to submit biometrics yet and their application has not progressed.

They are now planning to visit my brother in London, UK and hope to fly to Canada directly from UK in a few months. Their permanent address as such will not change, hence I am not sure whether this is a change in the application form information that we need to submit. I wanted to check whether they can now submit their biometrics in London and subsequently submit their passports for obtaining the super visa in London itself.

Is there a specific form that we need to submit in order to action this?

Thanks

Hey guys, any suggestions on above would be really helpful.

I tried calling IRCC, and after 5 minutes of navigation, I am told they can't transfer my call to an agent due to high volume.

it will be best if you raise a webform and ask these questions to them directly.
You can simply google IRCC webform and raise a inquiry about your questions

Thanks, I submitted the form yesterday. One concern that I have is, that the confirmation message simply stated that if the application is within normal processing times, they will not respond. I am concerned, are the queries that are within normal processing times simply filtered out/not read? My query was not around processing time and I hope it is read and responded.

That is their standard reply. Don’t worry wait for their response, it can take up to 7 business days

Hi,
l‘ve applied from India for a TRV, as vacs are closed here, I’ll be giving biometrics in Dubai and to confirm if that is accepted I contacted Dubai vac to confirm if I can give my biometrics there, they said if on BIL if they’ve not mentioned to give biometrics at any specific location, you are free to give biometrics anywhere or any open vac centre close to you.

So in your case, I‘d suggest check with London‘s vac office about this

Hi, I and my wife both are Permanent Residents in Canada. I am applying for a visitor visa for my mother-in-law to help/support my wife during pregnancy. I can not really wait until Biometrics centers open in India. Can she give biometrics in Dubai? and if yes what is the procedure to go to Dubai? Thanks in Advance!

Yes, she can give her biometrics if her BIL letter says she can give biometrics at her nearest open vac office, then she can give biometrics in Dubai.
1. Take appointment online on Dubai’s vac website
2. Apply for Dubai visa ( I got visa in 3days)
3. Once she receives her visa, she can book tickets and will Ready to give biometrics there.

I’ve got my visa, I will be travelling on 24th Oct my appointment is on 26th Oct for biometrics

I will follow exactly what you said.
but 3 more questions?
1. My mother-in-law needs help with travel. So I will be sending her son along with her. Do they need to Quarantine in Dubai?
2. What visa you have received?
3. And how did you got approved without giving Bio-metrics? -- I guess without giving biometrics CIC will not start any application right?

Please help me!

Thanks in advance

1. No, they don’t need to quarantine. They need to get COVID test done 96hours prior to travel and it should be negativ only then they can travel and no quarantine needed
2. Tourist visa for 30days
3. I got Dubai visa approved and not Canada yet.
