Biometric processing time

I applied online for visitor visa from US. I took my biometrics letter to nearest visa application center in oklahoma city and gave my biometrics there 2 days ago. But my online application is still not updated. It still says: We need your fingerprints to process your application.

How long will it take from VAC to send my biometrics to relevant office so that status is updated on my application online?

I have a friend who is also in a similar situation. We applied for the visitor visa online and went to the nearest USCIS in Philadelphia to submit her biometrics last Monday (July 24th) and still have not received any updates since then.
