Biometric - not updating

Gave my biometrics 5 days ago, yet on the gc key portal it shows "we require your blah blah blah"

No update nothing.

This is so frustrating literally, on every step there is an issue.

Can somebody please tell me what I should do, or do I just wait? I called the VFS, they said they sent my biometrics to the IRCC..

Since you've given your bio, don't worry about it. They'll eventually update it.

Agents are saying it's not updating because VAC's in India are closed apparently right now. But I already gave my biometric?

Would this slow my application down? I did everything from my side ..

They probably would still be working during lockdown but it will certainly slow down application processing .

Yours biometric took 3 days before it changed from "we need your fingerprints" to completed? right?

Ideally, they update BIOMETRICS rightaway, right? I remember the lady kept typing in front of me. Confirming my details around 5 times and it was updated almost immediately.

Try calling them perhaps?

Called them, and they said they report it to the IRCC immediately, and it's up to them when to update it on the portal.. Why do we as an applicant have to worry about THEIR job? Why can't they do it on time and properly?
