Biometric in US

Hello,

I have a question regarding completing my biometrics in the US. are the biometrics only done via an appointment or do they entertain walk ins as well?

I'm asking as the first appointment I am seeing is like 15-16 days ahead. Is that normal? Shall I just walk in and request them for biometrics?

15-16 days ahead sounds consistent with my experience. When I booked, the closest available date was 2 weeks in the future. But there really is no rush. As long as you get it done before the 30-day deadline, you're set. Doing it the next day won't make your application any faster.
