Biometric fees for Permanent Residency?

Hello,

I'm applying for PR as a refugee inside Canada, and my question is: Do I have to pay for biometric fees too along with the application fee? Because as far as I understand biometrics in Canada are valid for 10 years and last time I did it was last year.

You have to pay for sure later they will refund it but for now, you have to pay..

Update: I just found out when applying my application and paying online, the system only showed Application fees to pay. Apparently it won't ask for biometric fee for refugees.

May I ask, how did u sign the schedule 14 form? As they need to be signed digitally?

You pay the whole thing altogether then they do a partial refund.

Yes, but on the portal it says that we should not print and scan the form.

I left it blank, because it wouldn't allow edits or adding digital signatures. Also says don't print & scan. So the only option was to leave it. The last section on the portal about the consent should be sufficient for all the forms.

actually it turned out to only pay the application fee on the online system.
